Player - Before You Register
- Account Setup - If you have previously registered your player(s) with Hockey Canada use the same account as previous. DO NOT create a new account. If you require assistance with your account, please email winklerregistrar@gmail.com.
- New Players - If your child has not been registered with Hockey Canada previously, you will be prompted to upload their birth certificate as part of the registration process.
- AA/AAA Tryouts - If your player intends to tryout for AA/AAA they must first register with Winkler Minor Hockey. Select e-Transfer as the payment method, but only submit payment once it's known your player will be playing in Winkler Minor Hockey.
- Female Only Divisions - While registration is offered for U9-18 Female Only teams, icing teams is dependent on adequate enrolment. If enrolment is not adequate to ice a team in any of these divisions, Winkler Minor Hockey will assist any players who wish to play with another Minor Hockey Association (Note: Refer to next point for more details). For the 2025-2026 season, enrolment resulted in icing Female Only teams in both U11 and U13. Contact winklerfemalehockeyrep@gmail.com for assistance.
- Playing Minor Hockey Outside of Winkler - If, for whatever reason, your player intends to play in another Minor Hockey Association, they must first register with Winkler Minor Hockey. Select e-Transfer as the payment method, but only submit payment once it's known your player will be playing in Winkler Minor Hockey. If they end up playing outside of Winkler Minor Hockey you will need to pay registration fees to your new Minor Hockey Association.
Player - After You Register
- RAMP Registration - Upon completion of registration, each player must also be registered for RAMP.
- Respect in Sport for Parents - All players must have at least one parent/guardian complete Respect in Sport (RIS). Players who have not had at least one parent/guardian complete the course or has not been registered to their parent/guardians RIS account, will NOT be allowed to play after October 31.
- Payment - If you have selected Cash or Cheque as your method of payment, contact winklerminorhockey@gmail.com to make arrangements. If you have selected e-Transfer, please send to winklerminorhockey@gmail.com (Password: hockey).
